Oldies But Goodies..Historics
There is something so memorable about the dayliles that our grandmothers' had in their gardens. They required little care, and grew beautifully through summer days, and we knew they would always be there to enjoy!
My Great-grandparents had a large Christmas tree farm in Princeton NJ when I was small...and all around their farmhouse were the lovely orange faces of the Lemon Lily, H.fulva and kwanzo....which is probably why I still have a love of these invasive beauties.
Do you have any memories of these lovelies and do you grown them now?
I do ;-)

Hybridizer Science: "Whole Plant Technologies"
This group exists to explore the sciences of the plant as a whole. Many among us value high performance bloom production. We value great scapes, rebloom, incessance, bud building, increase, fertility, pod production, and seed viability as important to the progress of the Hemerocallis plant. How can we effectively consider the whole plant in breeding and selection to increase vigor and bloom production?
Post here your findings and your questions. Teach us what you know.
