Growing Daylilies Together

Anyone actually know of any blue teeth on daylilies?

I've never seen any real blue teeth, but there are some nice "bluish" edges with knobs and hooks.

I am sorry that I don't have names and faces right now.
Maybe someone else will jump in with images for you.

Personally I am trying to get dark near black teeth in my program. It would be wonderful to see teeth in different colors.

I'm thinking of making colored teeth my goal for my 2012 summer. I wish I did not have to go to work and just devote my time to daylilies. There is so many different things I would like to try with teeth, I just want to try to get somthing new that I haven't seen before.

I have been working on getting colored teeth and this year i got my first. heres a photo of a 6 month old seedling.

Can't wait to see more from you. I'll have to go through my seedling images and see if I can find the few that had darker teeth. I would love to see dark teeth more, especially near black to go with a near black eye.

You have a wonderful flower will, you have me beat by years... Haha, I am a new hybridizer and it seems everything I think of that is outside the box, other people are working on. Put me down for a fan when you intro that one!!!! Your work never fails to amaze me. Keep it up. I have seeds with the potential of blue teeth/ patterned eyes with teeth. We will see in a few years have a great day.
