Looking at Dan Patch's Bearded daylily examples in his blog, very neat! Jack Carpenter's Texas Feathered Fancy (06) also has this effect, although Jack called it "feathering". Personally I like Dan's formal definition better, and whole heartedly agree that this could open a new door for the look of daylilies.
