I'm a hybridizer of daylilies for the past 8 years. My collection of daylilies is limited to less than 500 cultivars registered, and planting more than 5,000 pending evaluations. For me that passion is a hobby, but also a disease of hemero-mania.My main work in a nursery in Trois-Rivieres, manager (Nursery Section) and service maintenance and landscaping consultancy over 30 years experience.

It is a beautiful day today and I do have some reblooming now. They are special and getting all of my attention. The hibiscus and the crepe myrtle are looking good today. It is fun to start hibiscus and crepe myrtle from seeds, but you can get overstocked. My yard is pretty full now but I enjoy walking in the yard every morning and at other times just for the exercise.

Whew, digging, digging and more digging...then there's the labeling, planting and last but not least, composting! We love daylilies but there's gotta be an easier way...

Thanks to the GANG at My Daylilies for giving us this venue - to view, share and enjoy each other's daylilies and knowledge.

Sad news. I just lost my special Indy girl (the Agility Champion in the picture). The house feels very empty without her.
