Growing Daylilies Together

Have cut back my daylilies and added more mulch. The wind has a chill and the the leaves start to fall. Another season passes without much ado. I smile and need to get some firewood.

I finally made it to my first daylily symposium in Canada. I had a great time and was very encourage by what I heard. Based on the steps I’ve taken so far I feel like I’m headed in the direction I want to be going in a hybridization program.

I'm a hybridizer of daylilies for the past 8 years. My collection of daylilies is limited to less than 500 cultivars registered, and planting more than 5,000 pending evaluations. For me that passion is a hobby, but also a disease of hemero-mania.My main work in a nursery in Trois-Rivieres, manager (Nursery Section) and service maintenance and landscaping consultancy over 30 years experience.

Anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring and two shipments of new culitivars.

Just got back from our first FIELDS meeting it was nice. Really can't wait to get some seeds started now.
