Wishing it wasn't so wet and cool outside

We are closing Listening Lizard Daylilies at the end of this season and putting the property up for sale. I will continue to hybridize as that is the part that I enjoy. The garden is 25 miles from home so it is a 50 mile trip every day. The property is really nice but my wife is not interested in building a home there. The mobile home serves as a place to eat lunch and as restroom facilities for or customers.Some of you may have been in the garden if you attended the 2003 convention in Charlotte.

It has been a very mild winter with very little snow. I would like more snow to blanket the plants for the rest of the winter.Come on spring

I'm a hybridizer of daylilies for the past 8 years. My collection of daylilies is limited to less than 500 cultivars registered, and planting more than 5,000 pending evaluations. For me that passion is a hobby, but also a disease of hemero-mania.My main work in a nursery in Trois-Rivieres, manager (Nursery Section) and service maintenance and landscaping consultancy over 30 years experience.
