With 77 members in the photography group, there seems to be little discussion.

What is up with that? People too busy shopping for Christmas? Depressed about Christmas and the prices of things? Escaping the crummy weather we are experiencing?

Remember you want to tell your family that all you want for Christmas is either Daylilies or a good Digital Camera!

I myself am super busy with work on daylily webpages, our family did our Christmas on December 5th, so that we can all do the in-law or out-law thing on the 25th of December. Well not really, we do it early as my two siblings live in the "snow-belt" and we don't trust Mother Nature not to bring them copious amounts of snow on the 24th or 25th (been there done that).

I will get you stimulated in the New Year to post messages with your tips and tricks to photography by writing some interesting stuff here to get you going. We do want to here from our more experienced photographers as well as our less experienced photographers. If you had trouble taking images this past season, post one on the forums for us to evaluate and help you to get it "perfect" next season.

I too hope to learn a thing or two about taking photos of the daylilies that share my yard!! With 1200 varieties one would think I would have a lot fo great photos LOL. I just bought a new Nikon Cool Pix and am looking forward to bloom season!

This will be a great group to learn and discuss photography. I've taken thousands of photos but can always learn a new trick or two.

You are most welcome, there was a group discussion about photography in the arts group, but a couple of people asked that I create a specific group for Photography so it was easier to find.

Let's talk Photography, so that we don't have to hurt our eyes looking at fuzzy daylilies.

I am looking forward to information shared on this group. I don't own a digital camera and always use my daughter's to take pictures. I definitely want to get one before next season, so waiting to hear the pros and cons. Thanks JP
