Quel sont vos hémérocalles qui produisent le plus de boutons.Chez moi a Québec la moyenne de boutons par hémérocalles ne dépasse 30 environ ,alors je rechercher des plants qui sont plus productifs , j ai acheter pour 2013 RED BULL qui donne environ 80 boutons , j ai hâte de voir le résultat chez moi . Si vous avez des suggestions dites le moi svp. Josette

Nina Waters Josette, 80 buds is a very big number. That is wonderful . I have one seedling that makes 45 buds. It is a tet. I have two dip seedlings that make 40 buds.
I know that Becki Pavlik here at mydaylilies is very interested in making daylilies with large number of buds. Maybe you could speak with her. Do you have a picture of the daylily with 80 buds?121 days ago -
Since the growing season is now over for the majority of us, it is now the time many of us reflect on the previous year and plann for the next growing season. Since summer 2012 provided many challenges with heat, drought, etc., it was a good year to really evaluate plants for heat and drought tolerance. Which ones performed the best for you? Which ones did not survive?

Mike Derrow Chris, my garden is in the northern panhandle of WV, about 20 miles south of I-70. Germination rates were down this year but no where near what you've experienced. I usually get in the low to mid 90% range - this year it was definitely closer to 80%. Some crosses had empty black husks in the pods, others had firm seeds that didn't germinate at all. SOLI DEO GLORIA - what a bloom - the scapes are short but the blooms are beautiful with perhaps the best blue purple I've ever seen - they are large and sunfast, too. And though the scapes are shorter than I prefer, they are well branched for me and the plant has instant rebloom and good fertility, too. WATER DROPS was terrible the first year it was here - the last 2, it's been very good. BLUEGRASS MEMORIES is a star performer here with vigor, rebloom and fertility. The startling colors of BM are sunfast, too. I was lucky and got pods on both SDG and BM with ONE FOR STEVE pollen - am excited to see what shakes out of those crosses.126 days ago -
