Just received and planted "Breeze at Dawn" the Reilly 2012 intro I got to name. It's photo is my avatar. The name comes from a Rumi poem, "The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you. Don't go back to sleep. You must ask for what you really want. Don't go back to sleep...."

Daylilies are my passion. I have been a hybridizer for over 25 years in Quebec.
I am always delighted year after year discovering the new seedlings. This is Fascinating!

We had our first frost this morning. It was light. We are supposed to be warmer for the next week with daytime temps in the 60s. I have finally finished cleaning up the beds and lining out the selected seedlings for further evaluation. I can't wait until spring.

I'm a hybridizer of daylilies for the past 8 years. My collection of daylilies is limited to less than 500 cultivars registered, and planting more than 5,000 pending evaluations. For me that passion is a hobby, but also a disease of hemero-mania.My main work in a nursery in Trois-Rivieres, manager (Nursery Section) and service maintenance and landscaping consultancy over 30 years experience.

Well all of the daylilies are tucked in for the winter! YAYY! The colder weather is setting in, and I am sure not looking forward to the snow. Hope everyone had a bloom filled summer, and beautiful fall. Christmas is already in the air (and at all the stores, too! ;0).
