About me: I'm a backyard hybridizer with four registrations and several pending. I've been a member of the AHS for several years, and I also belong to the CHS (Canadian Hemerocallis Society), the AAHRQ, and SQHH here in Quebec, as well as several area garden clubs. I started dabbing about 9 years ago and I absolutely love the thrill of waking up to see what new face is smiling in the garden. Although my passion is daylilies, I enjoy all perennials and flowering shrubs, especially if they aren't appetizing to the deer. I have a large collection of lilacs, hostas, peonies, quite a few echinaceas and have recently started to collect Japanese iris. My other great passion is music. I have been singing in choirs (including my church choir) for the past 20 years, mostly classical repertoire.
